This month, we celebrate Dominick Nicole Evans, a dedicated and energetic med tech who’s been with Sunnyside for nearly two years. Known for her bright smile and reliability, Dominick loves caring for the elderly, ensuring their medications are managed, and bringing joy to their day.
With 15 years of medical field experience, Dominick plans to become a registered nurse. A proud Raiders fan, she enjoys spending time with her kids on her days off and cheering during football season. Her favorite snack is a Snickers bar, and a special memory at Sunnyside is singing a Spanish song with a resident during karaoke.
Fun fact: Dominick played baseball in high school, and her favorite saying, “I got this,” keeps keeps her motivated. Thank you, Dominick, for your hard work and dedication!

Enjoy Flowers Longer

Each year on Feb. 14, people give cards, candy, gifts or flowers on the day of love and romance called Valentine’s Day. The observance dates back to the 5th century.
February’s Forecast
If you receive a bouquet of fresh flowers, help them last longer with this recipe: Dissolve 2 tablespoons each of sugar and white vinegar in a quart of warm water. Experts say another alternative is to mix one part lemon-lime soda with three parts water. Change the water mixture every few days.

A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing staff who participated in the resident Secret Santa this year! Your thoughtfulness and holiday spirit truly brought the season to life. Watching the residents light up with joy as they unwrapped their gifts was a moment of pure magic. You made this holiday unforgettable, and we’re so grateful for all you do!

We had a wonderful New Year’s Day at Sunnyside Senior Living, celebrating with a delicious charcuterie board and a heartwarming movie. The room was filled with laughter, joy, and reflections on the past year. To wrap up the day, we shared warm wishes for a Happy New Year and an exciting 2025 ahead!
