Spotlight on Karla Enriquez
We’re excited to introduce Karla Enriquez, who has been a cherished member of the Sunnyside Senior Living family for nine months. As a dedicated Dietary Aide, Karla finds joy in ensuring that our residents receive their meals with a smile. It warms her heart to see their happy faces each day.
When she’s not at work, Karla loves to draw and paint, and she absolutely adores going on beach trips with her husband and son. One day, she dreams of traveling to Japan with them. Her favorite food is Korean BBQ, especially bulgogi.
At home, Karla’s heart is full thanks to her two adorable dogs, Zelda the pug and Chiquis the mini Aussie. Her life advice, which she shares with her son, is to always “be kind and have fun.” Spending time with friends at the beach, watching the sunset, is one of the things that always brings a smile to her face.
Father’s Day at Sunnyside
Father’s Day at Sunnyside was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments. Thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate the amazing fathers and father figures in our community. Your presence brought so much joy and made the day extra special for our residents. Sharing a meal, holding hands, and simply being together reminded us how powerful love and connection truly are. We hope to see even more families join us next year to make Father’s Day 2026 unforgettable!
4th of July Fun at Sunnyside!
Our 4th of July celebration was one to remember! Residents enjoyed live music from the talented Dennis Gilmore, refreshing drinks, a delicious charcuterie board, and lots of smiles all around. The evening ended with an exciting fire spinning poi performance by Jarred Chalke that lit up the night!
